The month of January will be my 1st blogging anniversary and in this post I’d like to take a moment to thank all of the wonderful folks I’ve met in 2010...you all make my journey down this road of poetry well worth the trip.
As any writer knows, this life of word painting can be a solitaire endeavor but at least here in the blogosphere, if one chooses to he or she can surround themselves with others who travel the same path.
Gratitude goes to the following folks:
Missy Ricco and her At Art Words Community Blog Project.
Robert Lloyd and the tireless efforts of those at Poets United.
Jingle (one of the friendliest poets on the net (^_^) and her magnificent Poet Rally's and Potlucks.
Pete Marshall, Adam Dustus, & Lesile Moon over at OneShotPoetry.
Special shot out to some of my favorite bloggers:
Climb 2 Nowhere…you stay writing hilarious tales that always bring a smile to my face…I’m so glad I stumbled upon you at blogcatalog (^_^)
LovelyAnnie…hello fellow Poet’s United group member…you are one of the most prolithic poets I’ve ever had the joy of reading…besides anyone who knows upfromsumdirt will always be cool with me ;-)
Abigail…you have a way a writing word pictures that inspires my imagination…if you haven’t check out her work please do so…she is quite talented.
To all those who’ve stopped by my blog and have impacted the way I approach this craft I say from the bottom of my heart…
…best wishes for the New Year and beyond…ONE::

That's a very clever poem with a great choice of words. I like the Jedi idea and ground zero reference. A poem I want to reread several times!
