Wow, your poem about single motherhood is both inspiring and well crafted. I love this explanation of how life conspires to sap you of your energy when you have that "every thing" job. I bet you do well.
This poem so wonderfully weaves together the complex net of exhaustion, frustration and absolute joy that holds us captive as busy mothers. Your last few lines say it all...however difficult the job, we are indeed grateful for the opportunity to be doing it. The painting you have used to illustrate this piece is stunning...
