The whole world's a stage...and in these days, not one I'm especially proud to stand on. Until we all clue in to how we can end the suffering, we will constently be subjected to repeat performances. Great take on an equally inspiring photo.
I have been missing you my fine friend...missing your presence and reading your words...happy to find you here tonight...I've said it before, I truly dig your poetic style...presence..being. Peace, Lovely Annie
I like the end line that says "where the decimated stage upon which they stand tends to hold repeat performances." It's just so true. The world just keeps on going and going and you hear one atrocity after another and seemingly nothing changes.....beautifully written....
Fine poem, and far reaching in scope. Makes me think of how key players might know something subjects do not, especially in conflict.
ReplyDeleteyeah...similar resonance...the more things change the more they stay the same...again and again...

ReplyDeleteThe whole work is loaded with double entendre and more. A metaphor for what's gained and lost and who has to pay. Excellent.
ReplyDeletedasuntoucha, I would say that about sums it up, nicely done.
