Wow...much said here and that measure of infatuation with someone...believe most have felt it with someone, somewhere in life...it is agony indeed..bkm
I love this .. the last stanza didn't quite flow as well as the others, but this is very creative, even if these old eyes had a hard time reading the font ... still it was a deep and insightful piece, and I know this place!
Almost brought me to tears, especially the second-to-last stanza. It's the casual touches which mean nothing to one and everything to the other that's heartbreaking.
What a rhythmic composition.. I almost sang it to myself.. This can very well be converted to a song with the same words.. The power of this composition filled me up.. :)
WOWWW!! Honest and awesome!! It takes courage to ask for such a punishment too, you know... Really, this was an absolutely fantastic take on the theme, Dasun!! I cannot tell you much I loved reading and rereading this one!! And the fonts you have chosen for the poem - that too is kinda perfect for the feeling you are trying to express here... really too good!!
Awesome my Dear.
ReplyDeleteI would love to sequal this

Agony in love is just especially if the person we love doesn't know about it. I have been there too. Well written poem, musical.
