I am loving this one!Sad but so real...storms of life...we must have faith in healing beyond unhealthy guilt. Life is beautiful regardless. Thank you, Ciao.
broken people - yeah - wonder if there are many unbroken people left in todays world…you beautifully capture the brokenness, the hope of finding someone but also the truth that no other human can make us whole again - but maybe help a bit with love, good advice and patience
This is such a powerful and heartbreaking poem..I suspect many of us have been damaged enough in the past, (or present), to identify with this!
I like how you've printed this out...it this something you've submitted to Robb's new poetry card project? I see the one you posted previous to this is the same..in any case, they're great.
Poetry is not my field but this is touching. Great poem. Very poignant.
Everyone has been broken, but the broken ones this poem refers to are those who are reliant on others or a situation for their happiness. I have a strong belief that everyone take full responsibility for their own. That is not to mean you shouldn't use those around you, but you should not be fully reliant upon them. We are our own person.
Thanks for your wonderful comments on my blog!! Look at you, I am so lucky to have come across this site, appreciate your attempt at saving one "broken" person at a time!!
Sadly, modern living breaks us all beyond repair. Lovely presentation...
